Your Hospice-directed gifts to Marquardt Foundation can help families in a variety of ways—buying a few groceries during a particularly tough month, easing the expenses not covered by Medicare and Medicaid, making a simple and memorable last wish come true, even providing a happy moment like a birthday party or anniversary celebration. Your donation helps us support families and honor the life and legacy of those living with a terminal illness.
Although our hospice team is made up of extraordinary nurses and caregivers, counselors and social workers, we know we can’t do it alone. We need the help of volunteers like you. Helping someone through their end-of-life journey is one of the most courageous and impactful gifts you can give.
There are many ways you can help support our hospice services. Some involve working directly with patients and families, while others are behind the scenes.
If you are looking for an easy and rewarding way to give back, consider joining our amazing team of Evening Meals on Wheels volunteer delivery drivers. Your role would be to make contactless meal deliveries to seniors in need. This is a great activity to do with a small group or on your way home from work. It only takes an hour! Whether you would like to volunteer every week, every other week, as needed, or on an on-call basis, Evening Meals on Wheels can use your help!
